The current environment for companies to choose a registrar is customer driven by Purchase order requirements, usually in the quality section of the P.O. It is my experience that most customer Purchase orders don't even require their vendor's be registered to ISO reqts. but have a system in place. ANAB (formerly RAB) will tell you that any company can be registered by an accredited or non accredited third party registrar depending on the customer reqts.The only differences between a registration from an accredited or not accredited registrar is cost to the customer. The accretidet registrar is always higher in cost because of their significant costs to be accredited and maintain it. The new ISO 17021 does not effect this registration process but increases reqts and costs to those already accredited registrars. I am afraid that many companies looking to implement the new std are misenterpreting the impact to their vendors.

SP. Singh from Indonesia, A principal Auditor from IRCA(UK). For ISO 9001:2000 certification date 5th July 2007 Audit has not been conducted this year so far due to No operation and No man power. Possible to deffer the audit for 1-2 months under the given circumstances. TUV cert certifying body has asked for recertification? It was renewed only last year
